Lauren + Tanner | Ross Camp Engagement
I have a good one for you today! These two (and their dogs) are the cutest!
I recently photographed Lauren & Tanner while I was home in Indiana. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married in October and I can’t be more thrilled to photograph their big day. Lauren is so creative, I know there’s going to be lots of beautiful details.
Lauren & Tanner have been together for a long time (7 years!), but after agreeing that a house should come before the ring, the proposal came later…this past Christmas to be exact! I saw the video on Facebook of Tanner giving Lauren a big box and could hardly wait for her to get it opened (He really looked like an excited little kid!) to discover the cherished little box with an impressive, shiny, new accessory. He did good everyone! 😉
While I was waiting for them to arrive at their engagement session, I couldn’t help but imagine how beautiful the location would be in October. You know…the typical photographer giddiness that comes with a great location, perfect light, and fall colors to top it off! We did their engagement at the same venue as their wedding will be, Ross Camp in West Lafayette. Spring and Fall are my favorite times of year to photograph and I get them both with these two.
Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Lauren & Tanner’s engagement session! These two were great in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a good location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one to remember.
Ok, onto what we really want…some of their session highlights!
Everyone knows I love a good, genuine laughing photo <3
Probably my favorite photos ever of client’s dogs. I think these would make a good ‘Caption This’.
Well…we all need a break at some point right? Paeyton needed a quick roll in the grass, then back to the business of looking adorable.
Dancing around in some smoke…sure! I love the feel of these photos.
Fave!!
And last, but certainly not least, Lauren brought a photo of her parents that she wanted to recreate. I think we did a hell of a job! She got all the details down perfectly…and the dogs are pretty much the same colors too! I love this kind of stuff.
Until October lovelies!
