Today’s senior was a special one because she’s my Today’s senior was a special one because she’s my own!! It’s a weird feeling, but also super special to do her senior photos myself. It helped keep the tears at bay too. I can’t even believe she starts her senior year on Monday…seriously where has the time gone?! I blinked. 😭😭😭 We thought the Wharf in DC would be a fun spot to do this first batch of photos, nice and early this morning when all was peaceful with the exception of a few runners. I must say, and I’ve said it before, but it continues to be true…photographing your own child is the hardest, by far! 😂 But a big shoutout to our fabulous assistant and one of Haylee’s best friends, who helped make this all go smoothly. Haylee, we are so proud of you, with school, with swim, and even more so the young woman you’re becoming. Your crazy sense of humor is my favorite. Keep staying true to who you are, and keep those goals high! You’ve got a hell of a future to look forward to, and I can’t wait to watch it all unfold. (Ok...but like, I can wait a little because this is all going too fast!). Haylee plans to start her studies in marine biology next Fall, but I’ll let her share her plans later on when she’s ready 🎉😍 Also, Haylee!
