Celebrating the Double Digits! | 10th Birthday Portraits

Sometimes you have to do some pictures that are good for the soul. After a rough couple of months after losing my father, I knew we had to get her 10th birthday portraits done! I usually do them closer to her birthday, but this year it just didn’t happen. My photographer friend and I dressed up our kids and off we went to Old Town Alexandria! It was the perfect location for their outfits, and the vibe we wanted. It was super chilly but we made it work. Yes…I will put the links (affiliate links) below for ‘H’s outfit, most importantly the skirt which I have been asked about too many times to count. Ha. This skirt was a great find, good quality, and photographed so well.

I wanted to do these for my kiddos 10th birthday, entering the double digits! I can’t even believe she is 10…TEN!! Where did the time go. She is the light of my life and joy of everyday. There’s a bunch of her, but also some of our great friends, and even got a few mother/son pictures of them towards the end.
