My last senior session of the Fall and we finished

My last senior session of the Fall and we finished with a bang. How gorgeous?!
She picked the Manassas Battlefields and it was absolutely for the win, again! We had a beautiful evening, and she had such cute outfits. Paired with her infectious smile and sweet demeanor, her session is sure to make it a difficult job to pick out favorites from her gallery. I certainly didn’t have an easy time picking out these favorites to post…SO many!
Riley is going to continue her education in biology next year, hopefully alongside some friends too! What a blast that will be, right?! Until then, the rest of senior year awaits, enjoy it all!!

I got to spend a couple hours photographing this impressive young woman yesterday evening up in Alexandria for her senior pictures!
I met her awesome family overseas and now here she is, a senior in VA, in the thick of it with all the college applications and senior year things. She doesn’t do anything halfway, and she is one strong woman. Not only is she a track rockstar in the pole vault, she is also testing the waters with her school gymnastics team this year! Kudos girl!
One of my favorite things I know about her is that she is the VP for the Buddies Club/program at her high school, an awesome program that I know she’s very proud to be a part of. All the other schools can follow suit. I just think it’s fantastic.
Next year she will be somewhere on the East or West coast pursuing her studies in dermatology. Can’t wait to hear where she decides to go. No matter the choice, I know she will kick ass.

Hannah, I wish you all the good things in your future, you’re a rockstar. Make the most of the last months of high school, and make them memorable ones.

Another perfect weather day for some senior pictures combined with some family photo updates for this cool crew.

I’m so glad we could fit their session in this week because I’m not sure how much longer the Fall colors will hang on, but for them, they did.
We got to document their senior a bit, as well as get some family pictures before the oldest heads off next year for college and continues his education in computer engineering!
They’re a busy family, juggling all the things, like many of us, but their connection and love shows right through in those smiles!

My friend...SURPRISE! Here are your Fall pictures of your girl!

Another almost 80 degree Fall day with the colorful leaves still hanging on for a moment more, and a random free afternoon for me, we got them done!

While these may not be the “official” senior photos we do, we have Fall photos *while* she’s a senior 🤣

I know my wonderfully dear friend, this awesome senior’s mom, wanted some Fall senior photos for her girl, but with schedules and all the things, it wasn’t really in the cards, but between Ally and I being *kinda* sneaky, we took 20 minutes and made it work.

I’m going to save my spiel for Ally for when we do her photos in the spring 😉 Until then, enjoy these quick Fall photos we managed to get this afternoon!

This Fall weather and these gorgeous colors on dis

This Fall weather and these gorgeous colors on display for us served well yet again! I got to photograph this cool young man down at Leesylvania this evening and loved the chance to chat with him and his mom while we walked through the park finding the best spots for his photos.

I remember when he was a little ball of energy in elementary school on the robotics team...and now is just a more grown ball of energy! It’s infectious and serves him well because he does so many awesome things like Army JROTC, cross country, track, and robotics for most of high school. This impressive list is just the start. After high school he has big plans to fly among the best in the Air Force. I know the process for the academies is a grueling one, but I know it’ll be worth it.

And who knew the best things to get boys to have a natural smile are throwing big sticks and rocks into the water?! Ha, I love the youthfulness that this brought out. Also, I highly appreciated learning that he is always ready with an aptly timed dad joke up his sleeve.

Robby you’re the coolest and your future is super bright. Enjoy the rest of senior year and all of its adventures!
