Noah & Family | In-Home Newborn Session

Let’s just say this family rocks. ‘L’ and I had been discussing birth photography for second son who was arriving soon, and I was beyond excited. Well, ‘L’ is officially a machine in my eyes because she had the fastest delivery known to man (maybe an exaggeration, but close!), and I arrived 2 minutes after sweet Noah was born. Although bummed that I missed it, we got some special moments right after his arrival. I have to add how super cool they were about it too, they were even more shocked at how fast everything happened!

So fast forward a few days to when they arrived home from the hospital, I had the honor of photographing Noah and family in their home when he was less than a week old. He was SO tiny and precious. I love in-home newborn/lifestyle sessions. Everyone is more comfortable, you’re in your own element, and to me…the photos mean more to you, they hold more meaning and memories.
Let’s talk siblings…little Noah is so lucky to have a great big brother. ‘M’ is so helpful, and caring. He even helped me throughout the whole session. He went and grabbed the family camera, and helped pose, and photograph everyone. He would have his dad and mama tilt, turn, shift, and twist for just the right shot. It was ADORABLE. I better watch out, he’s going to be fierce competition. 😉 He drew me a picture that I received after the photos were delivered, and it’s hanging in my office. It’s a drawing of he and I photographing his baby brother. Stick figures are my favorite!
